This core course explores the management issues associated with formulating and implementing marketing plans in businesses and nonprofits. The focus is on the importance of buying behavior to influence marketing decisions. Every element of market responsibility (product development, pricing policy, advertising planning and relations with marketing channels) is examined. The course develops an understanding of the importance of an integrated marketing program and the need to link marketing to other departments of the company. Key concepts and ideas from microeconomics, macroeconomics, the environment and international economics are presented. These exams and results are accepted by the university for the same thing: this core course gives students a deeper understanding of the world they live in. It examines the historical forces that have shaped global capitalism and examines the development of commercial organizations, various sectors, key stakeholders and their impact on individuals and society, both globally and in Canada. The course also helps to develop critical thinking, analysis, reading and writing. I wanted to pursue my master`s degree at an aborted college, but I didn`t want to invest much time, and the Schulich School of Business offered my choice of program in just one year and they also offer a top-notch educational experience with successful and dedicated alumni and a strong network of external stakeholders.
